Little Island is exactly that — a compact patch of land of around two hectares, easy to walk around in a few minutes, but ringed by healthy coral reef that makes it one of the more rewarding snorkeling stops in the archipelago relative to its size.
Because it’s smaller and less visited than the bigger islands on a typical itinerary, the water around it tends to stay clearer and less stirred up — good news for spotting reef fish close to shore without having to swim far from the boat.
It’s a good stop for snorkelers who’d rather trade the bigger, busier islands for a quieter patch of reef to explore at their own pace.
