True to its name, Sunset Beach sits on the western side of Karimunjawa Island, about 6–7 kilometres from the main harbour, in one of the best positions on the island to watch the sun drop into the Java Sea.
There’s very little development here — no beachfront cafés or sunbeds, just soft white sand, calm water, and an open horizon — which keeps the atmosphere quiet even as the sky turns orange and gold in the late afternoon.
It sits on the same stretch of coast as Tanjung Gelam and Bobby Beach, and on the 2 Nights 3 Days Fun Experience package it’s often visited as an alternative sunset spot to Tanjung Gelam, with entrance included in both Fun Experience packages.
